Scope note: Enfermedad caracterizada por la diseminación crónica y progresiva de las lesiones de la leishmaniasis cutánea del Nuevo Mundo, producida por las especies del complejo L. braziliensis, hacia las mucosas nasal, faríngea y bucal, en algunas ocasiones después de la aparición de las lesiones cutáneas iniciales. La obstrucción nasal y las epistaxis son síntomas iniciales frecuentes.
